What is Homey?
Homey is a smart home automation/house automation system developed by Dutch company Athom. It allows users to connect and control all kinds of smart devices in the home from one central hub. It is designed to bring together different protocols and technologies, such as Thread, Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, making it a versatile solution for smart homes.
Homey's strength lies in its wide compatibility. It supports thousands of devices from brands as diverse as Philips Hue, Sonos, Google and thus Smartblinds. Users can easily manage all their connected Smartblinds using the Homey app.

Connect your Smartblinds with the Homey Pro
You can connect Smartblinds' motors to Homey in 2 different ways.
The first option is a direct connection with Homey. Therefore, you need an Athom Homey Pro (2023). This device works as a Thread and Matter border router, which allows you to connect your Eve Motionblinds Matter motors directly with your Homey Pro, without the intervention of a bridge.
The other option is to select the Motionblinds Bluetooth Motor instead of the Eve Motionblinds Matter motor. You can connect the Motionblinds Bluetooth motor, by adding a Motionblinds Wi-Fi Bridge between your motors and Homey. The connection is very easy. Connect your Smartblinds with Bluetooth motor with your bridge, and connect your bridge with Homey!
