Smart home control options

If you choose the Eve Motionblinds Matter motor, you can connect your Smartblinds to all major smart home platforms, provided you also have the right smart hub. Below you can see how to connect your Smartblinds to your smart home platform via the QR code. Then read what control options are available to you via smart home. Currently, Eve Motionblinds Matter motors are available for:

Connect your Smartblinds via the QR code on your cord

After installing your Smartblinds, you quickly and easily connect your Smartblinds to your Apple Home, Google Home or other smart home platform. Scan the QR code on the cord of your Smartblind via your home app and follow the steps indicated in the app.

Note: pairing with any smart home platform requires a smart hub that is Matter and Thread compatible. A list of smart hubs that meet this requirement can be found here.

Control Smartblinds with your smartphone

Have you linked your Smartblind via the QR code and set the correct start and end position? Then you can control your Smartblinds via your smartphone. Open the home app of your smart home platform, click on the desired Smartblind and use your finger to drag your blind to any desired hanging position. Your Smartblind responds quickly and automatically starts moving. With the use of a border router, better known as a smart hub, you can control your Smartblinds wherever you are. Are you at work and forgot to close your blinds? Then open your home app and let your Smartblinds close.

Control Smartblinds with your voice

Does your smart home platform have a smart assistant? Then in addition to controlling Smartblinds via your smartphone, you can also ask your smart assistant to perform certain commands. Add your Smartblinds to scenes, which will go off when you give Siri, Alexa or Google a voice command such as "Hey Siri, good morning!". Siri will recognize the command and automatically open your Smartblinds.

Set timers and automations

In addition to recognizing voice commands, you can also set other triggers on which your smart window blinds should perform a certain action. For example, set a time when your blinds open or close automatically, or link the time when your blinds should move to another trigger such as sunrise, sunset or when the outside temperature reaches a certain height. Besides being very convenient and saving you a lot of time, automations like these also save energy, which in turn is good for your wallet!

Een handig trekkoord

Of course, it is also still possible to operate your Smartblinds manually. But we have a clever solution for this too, so you don't have to endlessly pull on a chain or cord. With the handy pull cord, with one short tug, you can make your Smartblind move automatically to your set positions.

With these hubs, you control your Smartblinds at any time:
